Spain, Orihuela 2016

This post is over year late, sorry!

Me (Essi) and my friend Pauliina were part of the Pangea project in Spain, Orihuela in March 2016. Our flight lasted about four hours (Finland to Spain). I was on the plane for the first time! It was a thrill!

We arrived late at night at to the Alicante’s airport. Then we take a bus at the train station and on the train we headed towards to the Orihuela. In Orihuela’s train station there were the family members from our host families waiting us and they took us to their homes.

During our visit we visited at the school, theater, shopping centre, science museum, city hall, beach, restaurants, and many museums. We were very pleased with how all the activities were organized!

If I have to say what was the favorite thing on the whole trip, it was getting to know nice new people and the environment compared to our homeland the cold and dark Finland.

We are grateful that we got to be part of this project!

In WinNova we organized dissemination day of different projects. Our project event was on Wednesday 28th of April.  Event was organized in the hallway of our field of  business and tourism. Tourism students planned how to tell about projects and seminars and which aims we have and what we have done. Students also built the stand. They had shifts for working.
